How the differences can be combined is yet another decision point. Choices include: downloads to your own computer so no internet is required online only so you can practice from anywhere on your mobile device first 3 levels only complete 5 level package etc, etc, etc. So I strongly urge you to go to the website and figure out what you want. Even the Best Buy sales people get confused and you can easily mis-step. The problem is that the program comes is several different versions and the packaging isn't really clear.
Rosetta Stone is, in my opinion, the only way to go short of complete submersion living in the culture (and even then, Rosetta Stone gives you a huge initial boost). I am a linguist and speak several foreign languages.
